XENON FLAHSER
This little flasher runs on 1.5 volts and repeatedly flashes a xenon lamp.
In the picture can be seen the big 330V capacitor, the flashtube along with the green trigger transformer (4000 v) with its yellow insulator cladded HV ring; behind the capacitor there are the
main flyback transformer, a transistor and fast rectifier diode. A little neon lamp discharges the little yellow capacitor into the trigger transformer when the tension between its leads (stepped
down via voltage divider, which also charges the yellow cap) reaches about 100v.
