EXPLOSIVE PARACHUTE DEPLOYER

This unit is the controller for a small apparatus that, once installed on ultralight drones or RC planes will deploy a small parachute when a specific command is received or in case of electronics failure detection. Spring-loaded or compressed gas deploying system have not been taken into account, as a result of their generally greater weight; a miniature, replaceable explosive charge was chosen instead. 

A SOIC-8 ATtiny85 is the brain of the apparatus; a mini USB connectors is used for both ISP (the attiny has a USB bootloader) and additional sensor connection; the power driver section is electrically isolated from the control logic. The system can work on its own 3v power supply in order to avoid failures due to the main onboard electronics malfunctions.
