MINI NMR
The system is a mini open source low-field (0.5 T) NMR relaxometer for single (H) and double (H-X) resonance measurements, developed at INL in Braga,
Portugal. Current applications are H-57Fe double resonance (at 20 MHz and 650 kHz respectively) for molecular interaction studies of haemoglobin, with the ultimate goal of ex-vivo
medical diagnostics, and also T1-T2 correlation spectra acquisition for food analysis. The sample antenna is a 4.5 turn 80nH coil used for transmitting flip pulses and double tuned for
measurements at both frequencies. Future development include a stand alone SDR based board. Schematics of the double probe will soon be published.
